The Stitchers Garden Block of the Month quilt will have you learning to use a different sewing machine presser foot each month and how to utilize decorative stitches on the sewing machine. Each class is independent from the other classes. Pick and choose the techniques you wish to learn or sign up for the entire program and create a beautiful quilt sized 85” x 93”. Each month for 12 months explore a new technique with guided instruction and hands-on practice like machine appliqué, couching, pintucks, circle sewing attachment, ruffler and decorative stitches.
Each month there are printed handouts with detailed instructions and applique pattern shapes. There will be a supply list for each month so you know what to bring. The fabric requirements will be spelled out in detail on each month’s handouts. Handouts will need to be picked up before class and there will usually be a little prep before coming to sew.
Please note that this is only an in-store program. We are not able to ship out handouts. If you are interested in this program, contact your local sewing or quilting store and ask for they to look into providing this program in your area. The program was designed by The Stitch Connection.
If you want to attend the majority of the classes, purchase the entire program as a set. This way if you miss a class or two you will still have the information to continue your education. For make-up sessions of a Stitchers Garden class, please check the dates for our “Semi-Private Sewing Classes”.
