This hands-on class is open to owners of all brands of sewing machines. After attending Sewing Machine Mastery #1, take your new sewing machine to the next level while using a variety of different weights of fabric. Practice using many built in practical stitches for hemming, mending, overcasting, edge stitching and blind hemming. Understand what tension really means and how it works. Try out new uses for buttonholes and sewing on buttons. Those with a Bernina Stitch Regulator (BSR) will stay an extra ½ hour to learn how to use this special accessory. Fee: $75 or FREE with purchase of a Bernina, Husqvarna Viking or Janome sewing machine from Heirloom Creations.

One spool of quality sewing thread (any color) such as Mettler, Aurifil, or Superior Thread's MasterPiece or SoFine
Bernina owners with a Bernina Stitch Regulator (BSR) – bring your BSR foot with you to this session
One pack of Schmetz Universal 80/12 needles

All fabric will be provided by Heirloom Creations.
