I have always told myself that “it is good luck to sew something on New Year’s Day!” By starting the New Year out right with even a short sewing session, I know that I will have great sewing success throughout the coming year. And since sewing consumes most of my waking hours…I best hop to it! (But I am going to share this blog first!)
But before starting, lets take a short minute to clean your ever so faithful friend. If it has been awhile since she has had some loving attention, here are some of our “Cleaning & Maintenance” videos for a variety of type of sewing machines. Take care of her and she will take care of you this year.
Side Note: Go right now to your shiny new 2014 calendar and pencil in her Summertime annual service so, one, you don’t forget, and two, because sewing machine service departments can usually get you in and out faster during this months. If you are going out of town this summer, this is a perfect time to drop off your baby for a day at the SPA!
