60 Degree Triangle Strip Ruler
Make 2″ Finished 60° Triangles
The 60° Triangle Strip Ruler is one of a range of Strip Rulers designed to make cutting half-square triangles, quarter-square triangles, and 60° triangles from 2 1/2″ wide strips quick and easy. Use the ruler side to cut 2 1/2″ wide strips. Then Turn-a-Round™ the ruler and line up all the triangles along the strip of fabric and cut multiple triangles at once.
Cutting the Strips:
Remove the selvages from the fabric. Fold the fabric – selvage edge to selvage edge. Then fold the fabric again so that the fold is parallel to the selvage edges. The fabric should now be approximately 11″ wide. Trim the bottom raw edge of the fabric to create a straight edge.

Place the straight side of the ruler on the fabric to cut the 2 1/2″ wide strips.

To aid in sewing later, place two strips of fabric – right sides together – before cutting the
triangles. Then the pairs of triangles will be ready to sew immediately. Place the triangle side of the ruler on these strips.

Cut along the angled sides of the triangles. The holes cut out of the ruler enable the rotary
cutter to cut past the strip without damaging the ruler.

Put two strips of fabric together and cut 14 pairs of triangles at the same time.
