Semi-Private Sewing Class

December 4 @ 10:00 am - 12:30 pm

Limited to four people. We can teach you how to sew binding on a quilt, read a pattern, put in a zipper, make buttonholes, perfect ruffling fabric with a ruffler, free motion quilt, master a serger’s rolled hem, mend your favorite blue jeans, recover chair cushions, make a dog bed, hem a prom dress, repair a ripped area, adjust the fit of your favorite outfit, and much more. You name your sewing lesson topic and we will teach you how to do it! Great for kids 12 years old and up. Please check the website to know what to bring to class. If you miss a class you already paid for, sign up for any Semi-Private class for NO extra charge for your make up session.

For embroidery projects, check out our new “Embroidery Social” monthly classes open to all embroidery owners for help with all levels of embroidery projects.

Class Fee: $30 (Beginner)

Supply List

  • Sewing machine, serger or embroidery machine
  • Foot control, power cord and machine’s accessories
  • Basic sewing supplies – scissors, pins, tape measure, seam ripper, etc.
  • Fabric and instructions for desired project or projects you desire to learn how make during the allotted class time.

Doors open 15 minutes prior to class (9:45am) to allow time to come in and set up.
