Starting February 2014 Heirloom Creations will kick off our first session of the HoopSisters embroidery block of the month. Everyone who has seen our in-progress quilts have all said WOW!
With HoopSisters you can make perfectly quilted, pieced, and decoratively stitched quilt blocks all in the hoop of ANY embroidery machine. The 2014 EmbroidaBlock of the Month Jacobean Journey will start in February and run for 5 months. Become a HoopSister as you and other fellow “sisters and misters” work through the blocks together. Each class is only $25 and INCLUDES the designs for the quilt. Select either the whole cloth (shown in light blue) or the fabric appliqué option. The optional border CD will be available for purchase at the end. We are currently working on blocks in the store for our sample. Scroll down to see our work in progress.
We are encouraging students to use the first class session to audition fabrics and threads to be sure to love your selection.
These blocks are completely embroidered in the hoop with a special single layer of batting that has been stabilized to support all the beautiful stitches.
If you can’t attend one of the classes, you are welcome to pay the $25 and receive the designs for that month’s blocks with all the included directions.
