Meet the Stars…

Marsha Kirsch

Greatly loved for her enthusiasm and lively presentations, Marsha incites fantastic results, whether from the masterful technical skills she teaches or the inspiration that sewers take away from her events. She imparts an empowering “can do” attitude when instructing in the use of advanced machines and new software . . . opening up wide doors to creativity, and fun ways to embellish projects with exciting results. Customer “smiles” at the end of her events are her reward. Marsha enjoys creating and designing garments, purses and home décor projects. When selecting a pattern or design, she finds unique ways to give them an individualized creative touch, especially through embellishment.

Elizabeth Pooler

Elizabeth grew up at Sew-A-Lot, the quilting store her mother has owned since 1981. Spending many days learning about the PFAFF sewing machines and how they worked, she became passionate about sewing. She began working full time at her family’s business in 2004, managing the Lexington, KY location in addition to helping with the operations of the Centerville, OH stores. Her passion has always been teaching people all the fabulous things that their machines are able to do. She enjoys coming to Sew-A-Lot everyday and working closely with her sister and mom to continue a business that has been in her family for over 35 years. She is also a wife and mother to two girls.

Phil Carlton – Software Dude

Phil Carlton of Edmond, Oklahoma, has been teaching embroidery software classes for over 10 years. His light-hearted, humorous approach to teaching is grounded with extensive computer experience; he clearly explains the “whys” as well as the how to’s of our amazing software. Students return to his classes repeatedly as they know they will learn something new from a talented teacher. Recently, Phil’s software education lessons have been featured monthly through the Vantage Software Support program and through SVP’s advanced dealer education program. You can follow Phil on his Premier+ Phil Facebook page.

Sara Snuggerud

Sara is the face of SewingMastery.com. Her passion to teach sewing machine education goes back to her teenage years when she started working at a sewing machine store while in high school. She has traveled the world teaching, met her husband at a sewing machine convention and now is a YouTube “sewing star” of her own. She helps run Heirloom Creations in Sioux Falls, SD with her husband Steve, teach classes and run the poplar website SewingMastery.
