Stitching Cosmos Reveal – Photo Gallery

We Carry
by Sara Snuggerud in Foot of the Month

We challenged last year’s Stitching Cosmos class to finish their quilts for April’s Sewtopia Sewing Club for the BIG reveal. And did they ever!

The quilt pictures below turned out exquisite! Many did their own machine quilting. Others incorporated recently learned ruler work techniques for an amazing effect.

“FAVORITE. CLASS. EVER.”

From pintucks to ruffles and from couching to circular sewing attachments, the Stitching Cosmos program walks you through beginner, intermediate and advanced sewing techniques. It will challenge you to new sewing heights as Sara Snuggerud guides and challenges you at every class.

“An amazing journey. I know my sewing machine inside and out.”

The Stitching Cosmos sewing technique program has become a staple to our class curriculum. If you want to master every aspect of your sewing machine, your sewing machine’s stitches, and your sewing machine’s accessories feet, than the Stitching Cosmos program was made for you.

UPDATE:

The Stitching Cosmos is now available as three separate online courses. We have filmed the Stitching Cosmos online course on a Bernina, Husqvarna Viking and Pfaff. Here is an idea of what you will learn if you join us online.

“I am now the Master of my own sewing machine.”

Currently Heirloom Creations runs this program twice a year. Once as a 10-month session (January – November) or a 5-month Summer school option (May – September).

“I never thought there was so much I could do with my simple 20-stitch sewing machine.”

Thank you to everyone who completed their Stitching Cosmos quilts to share with the Sewtopia Sewing Club. I had goose bumps all day as I was able to share your beautiful creations, your thoughts about your Stitching Cosmos journey and highlight all the fun sewing bits and pieces you included in your blocks.Future Stitching Cosmos students also thank you!

“I did all the techniques and learned something new at every class, but did not think I would sew them together. So glad I finished. It really turned out great!”
