Kimberbell Academy’s are store-hosted 2-day hands-on embroidery events. These events include the awesome PRE-CUT kits from Kimberbell, stabilizer, thread, lunches, prizes and 6 fully completed embroidery projects in class.
Each student works on their own embroidery machine (NO SHARING) or you can request to use one of our embroidery machines if you do not own one.
We recently hosted our first (of many)! Kimberbell Academy “Oh Happy Day” with a group of 15 students. They learned techniques like paper piecing in the hoop, how to make lined zippered bags, create a pin cushion out of felt, how to work with vinyl within an embroidery design, how to cover a notebook AND how to MULIT-HOOP the Kimberbell way!
We are so excited for our next Kimberbell Academy!
We NOW can comfortably seat 14 FULL SIZE embroidery machines in our classroom for a Kimberbell Academy! With only 14 seats available, sign up early to reserve the Kimberbell Academy date(s) you refer. We will take waiting lists when they are full.
Imagine a day with sewing friends…
